Florida, Texas record over 200 coronavirus fatalities Wednesday

The US had more daily coronavirus fatalities today than it has had any day in the last two months, with Florida and Texas recording ore than 200 each, according to worldometers.info.

(UPDATE: The final data from Texas show 313 coronavirus fatalities today.)

The total number of daily coronavirus fatalities was the highest its been since May 28th, when the nation was on the downswing of the initial surge of infections.

Florida, Texas and California led the nation in the number of new coronavirus cases reported.
