House rejects objection to Arizona electors

The motion to reject the electors from the state of Arizona, brought to the House floor by Republican Representative Paul Gosar, and supported by Texas Senator Rafael “Ted” Cruz, was rejected by the House in a 303-121 vote.

In the final tally, only Republicans voted to reject Arizona’s slate of electors, with 83 Republicans joining the Democrats to reject the motion. One Democrat and five Republicans did not record votes on the issue.
