Colorado Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (Q-Rifle) has introduced a bill to nullify President Joe Biden’s executive order requiring the wearing of masks on all federal grounds, according to Congress.gov.
HR 375, titled “To provide that no person may be required to wear a face covering on Federal property or while traveling in interstate commerce, and for other purposes,” was sponsored by Boebert alone.
On Wednesday, Biden signed an executive order mandating mask-wearing on federal grounds and in vehicles of public transportation like interstate buses. It was his first measure in promoting 100 Days of Mask Wearing to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
