Pillow entrepreneur and fascism enthusiast Mike Lindell provided details to the site Gateway Pundit on how he was allegedly attacked by three radical antifa liberals trying to silence him and his campaign to have the former guy declared the winner of the 2020 Presidential election. Lindell insists the attack occurred in the lobby of the Sioux Falls Sheraton hotel. Strangely, there is no security camera footage or police report to back up any of Lindell’s claims. Also, at the time Lindell made the claim onstage, he did not have any apparent bruising on his face, nor was he wearing any kind of cast, which you would expect of someone who was physically attacked by three people.
Lindell claims in the GP article that the attack consisted of alleged fans asking for selfie photos with him, and that during the selfie: “…the younger man in jeans grabbed Mike and stood next to him. He put his arm around Mike and placed his hand under his armpit. As the older man was taking the photo, the younger man began applying incredible pressure under Mike’s armpit with his hand. Mike explained that the pain under his arm was “excruciating” and “intense,” but he wasn’t quite sure how to react, as he suspected the man with the camera had switched to video mode. Mike didn’t want to give either of the men the satisfaction of knowing how badly he was being hurt, so he continued to stand and smile for the camera without flinching. “He either wanted me to react or to fight him,” Mike said.”
So, basically the whole claim is a giant nothing-burger, based on an alleged interaction that isn’t corroborated by security camera footage or a police report, and even Lindell’s claim doesn’t really sound like an “attack” so much as an overly-exuberant fan who encountered an aging former crack addict who suffers from extremely poor circulation so that it’s easy for him to experience sharp pains from blood pooling in points in the body, most likely as a result of his years of crack smoking.
Even the Gateway article seems a bit skeptical of Lindell’s claims, as they make mention of the subaxiliary bundle, a section of nerves and blood vessels located on the inside of the upper arm, that can cause sharp pain when compressed. The Gateway Pundit article did not mention issues of vascular disease in current and former cocaine addicts, or cocaine use having long term effects that make one more susceptible to social paranoia.
