Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows’s December just got a little bit worse as the House chamber voted to refer him to the Department of Justice for prosecution on the charge of criminal contempt of Congress over his refusal to testify to the Capitol riot committee. The final vote count was 222 yes to 208 no. All Democrats voted aye, all but two Republicans voted nay. You can guess which Republicans they were. One Dem and three Republicans did not vote.
