None of the money raised by Trump’s exclusive official gold card club or “founding member” of Truth Social spam will go to defending these scumbags, but Trump’s team are somehow “helping” CPAC chief Matt Schlapp’s “First Amendment Fund” scrounge up some cash to pay attorneys to sue Nancy Pelosi and Bennie Thompson for trying to hold the MAGA Reich accountable for the failed insurrection in which five people were killed.
It should go without saying that anyone who actually cooperates with the committee in any way will not have their legal bills paid but Schlappy said it anyway. “We are certainly not going to assist anyone who agrees with the mission of the committee and is aiding and abetting the committee,” Schlapp said, adding they hold “the right to make decisions over whether someone gets assistance or doesn’t. I am in communication with [Trump’s] team about those decisions.”
