Democrats on the House January 6th Select Committee are coming back around on the idea of subpoenaing House members such as Kevin McCarthy, Jim Jordan, Andy Biggs, Ronny Jackson, and Jim Banks to testify about their roles in Trump’s coup attempt, the Guardian reports. Earlier the thinking was that since Republicans will retaliate with subpoenas to Dem members such as Adam Schiff for their bullshit investigations should they take the majority that it isn’t worth the hassle, but now the strategy is to possibly go ahead anyway because either the MAGA assholes testify, which is the point, or they defy them and in doing so give Dems the greenlight to blow off theirs.
