Ethan Nordean, a leader of the Proud Boys also known as Rufio Panman, was sentenced to 18 years in prison for seditious conspiracy and other felonies, for his actions in the January 6th Republican-led domestic terrorist attack on Congress, Scott MacFarland of CBS News reports.
Nordean was also convicted on charges of obstructing an official proceeding, aiding and abetting injury to government property, disorderly conduct and knowingly and violently entering a restricted building. His sentence matches the longest received by a January 6th felon: that of Oath Keepers leader Elmer Stewart Rhodes.
