Vince McMahon, the fake wrestling magnet whose wife was one of the longest-serving Cabinet officials of Donald Trump’s administration, was accused by a former WWE employee of sexual abuse and sex trafficking, saying McMahon demanded she perform sex acts on him, another WWE executive, and entertainers they were recruiting to be performers.
The woman, who worked as an assistant in the company’s legal department, names McMahon and former head of talent relations John Laurinaitis as defendants in a lawsuit claiming the abuse lasted for years. The lawsuit filed by Janel Grant asserts that McMahon and Laurinaitis required Grant to perform sex acts with the men individually and together.
Grant states that the abuse began soon after she started working for WWE in 2019, while McMahon’s wife, Linda McMahon, was the head of the Small Business Administration during the Trump Administration. She was one of the first Trump officials confirmed to her position, and she remained in the job until she resigned after the January 6th Republican-led domestic terrorist attack on Congress as Trump tried to subvert the Constitution. Vince McMahon was forced out of leadership at WWE in June 2022 after it was disclosed the company paid millions to various victims of his sexual abuse.
