“Total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 303,000 in March, and the unemployment rate changed little at 3.8 percent, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Job gains occurred in health care, government, and construction,” says the monthly US Bureau of Labor Statistics report.
Bloomberg reports the estimates were about 214,000, participation increased closer to pre-pandemic levels, and average hourly earnings went up 0.3 percent, so yeah this was a good month.
