Speaking at a fundraiser in California on Tuesday afternoon, Democratic Vice Presidential nominee and anchor on the bowling team Tim Walz said he favored abolishing the Electoral College that determines the winner of the US Presidential race, Politico reports.
“I think all of us know the Electoral College needs to go,” Walz said according to pool reporters in the room at the private fundraiser with California Governor and man Ron DeSantis aspires to be Gavin Newsom. “We need a national popular vote that is something. But that’s not the world we live in.”
