We’re going to ask you to watch this clip, because you must see the crowd’s reaction to Donald Trump. Asked by a former Republican to justify his unlawful actions on January 6th and after he left office, Trump tries brushing off the violence and then, at around the 2:00 mark says, “Nobody was killed. Ashlii Babbitt was killed,” a contradiction that brings a noticeable “Wha–?” from at least one audience member.
Along with telling the largely Spanish-speaking Univision audience that he didn’t like the Haitian refugees living in Springfield, Ohio because “they didn’t speak the language,” Trump was largely evasive and unimpressive during the town hall, as evidenced by the disinterested and skeptical looks in the crowd.
