Florida federal Judge Donald Middlebrooks on Thursday ordered asshole Trump lawyers Alina Habba and Peter Ticktin pay $50,000 in sanctions over for filing “knowingly false” or “reckless” claims in their “frivolous” failed Trump v Hillary Clinton, HFACC, the Democratic National Committee, DNC Services Corporation, Perkins Coie, Michael Sussmann, Marc Elias, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Charles Halliday Dolan Jr, Jake Sullivan, John Podesta, Robert E. Mook, Phillipe Reines, Fusion GPS, Glenn Simpson, Peter Fritsch, Nellie Ohr, Bruce Ohr, Orbis Business Intelligence, Christopher Steele, Igor Danchenko, Neustar, Rodney Joffe, Kevin Clinesmith, John Does 1 through 10 (said names being fictious [sic] and unknown persons), and ABC Corporations 1 through 10 (said names being fictitious and unknown entities), lawsuit over the 2016 election and Russia investigation.
“Not just initiated by a shotgun pleading, this was a shotgun lawsuit. Thirty-one individuals and organizations were summoned to court, forced to hire lawyers to defend against frivolous claims. The only common thread against them was Mr. Trump’s animus. Plaintiff deliberately misrepresented public documents by selectively using some portions while omitting other information including findings and conclusions that contradicted his narrative. This occurred with the Danchenko Indictment, the Department of Justice Inspector General’s Report for Operation Hurricane, and the Mueller Report. It was too frequent to be accidental. Every claim was frivolous, most barred by settled, well-established existing law. These were political grievances masquerading as legal claims. This cannot be attributed to incompetent lawyering. It was a deliberate use of the judicial system to pursue a political agenda,” wrote Middlebrooks in his ruling finding in favor of defendant Charles Dolan, a Dem political consultant who Habba and Ticktin misidentified as a Clinton campaign adviser and former DNC Chairman. He was neither, but the two dumbasses never corrected themselves.
