People have often compared Zelensky to Winston Churchill – the leader of a beleaguered European democracy threatened with the onslaught of a fascist empire. Both addressed the US Congress, hat in hand, asking for military aid to ensure their nations’ survival. But should this resolution pass and a bust of Zelensky be placed in the Capitol then that’s one other thing they’d have in common, as a bust of Churchill was installed there in 2013. So yes, Tucker didn’t do his homework, with the added insult of the 113th Congress, having a much larger Republican majority in the House than the current 118th, honoring a foreign leader with a monument. What a fucking dipshit.
