Israeli dictator Benjamin Netanyahu tells the Wall Street Journal he’s still moving forward with his evil plan to strip the country’s judiciary of its independence to protect himself from prosecution, minus the most controversial provision which allows for a legislative override of any Supreme Court ruling by his parliament coalition largely comprised of extremist psychopaths and religious zealots.
“I’m attentive to the public pulse, and to what I think will pass muster,” Netanyahu said, months after backing down from the plan which prompted widespread civil unrest. The Journal notes that the pared back coup plan is still unlikely to see the opposition acquiesce while also likely pissing off the ultranationalist and orthodox parties key to Netanyahu’s ruling coalition. Netanyahu also said he’s not going to lift a finger to help Ukraine because doing so would risk his ability to alert the Russians to bombing raids on Iranian targets in Syria.
