A December 6th, 2020 memo from Trump lawyer Kenneth Chesebro appears to be the grenade pin in a plan to blow up the results of the 2020 election by using slates of false electors from key states to disrupt the resolution of the Electoral College vote, outlining how, by having fake elector slates from six states submitted to Vice President Mike Pence, Trump supporters could cause chaos that would lead to Trump being reinstalled.

The plan lays out how the fake electors in the states must meet as planned on December 14th to sign their certifications.  Then, the plot demands that lawsuits be filed to be active on January 6th, covering each of the states individually, that would have even the slightest plausibility.  This, Chesebro wrote, would be enough to cause the Vice President to open all potential votes, sending the resolution of the competing slates back to the states, where Republican-controlled state legislatures would dutifully vote for Trump.

“Again, I’d be happy to elaborate further on the January 6 scenario I have in mind, but provided the three conditions above are met, unless I am missing something, I believe that what can be achieved on January 6 is not simply to keep Biden below 270 electoral votes,” Chesebro writes, always with an eye on appearances.  “It seems feasible that the vote count can be conducted so that at no point will Trump be behind in the electoral vote count unless and until Biden can obtain a favorable decision from the Supreme Court upholding the Electoral Count Act as constitutional, or otherwise recognizing the power of Congress (and not the President of the Senate) to count the votes.”

The plot laid out by Chesebro is the one undertaken by Trump supporters, with Republicans in multiple states won by Joe Biden falsely claiming on forged documents that Donald Trump was rightfully declared the winners of their states.
