An anonymous Republican Congressman tells CNN that House Oversight Chairbilly James Comer is “hoping Jesus comes so he can get out,” and “He is fed up,” not just with his failed impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden but apparently his job altogether, as the incompetent fraud of an investigator has his eyes on the governor’s mansion in Frankfort for when incumbent Dem Governor Andy Beshear is term-limited out from running again in 2027. Comer had lost to dipshit former Governor Matt Bevin in the 2015 Republican gubernatorial primary by like 80-something votes.
Anyway, the CNN story is about the bigger picture of the failure to find a pretext for evening the score for fat former President Trump’s two impeachments, hastily announced in a panic move by loser former Speaker Kevin McCarthy as he saw his support ebb in the conference and now he literally isn’t even a Congressman anymore. Even though we and all of our readers know that it’s still pretty freaking mind-boggling to write a sentence like that. They really do fucking suck that badly.
“I don’t even want to talk to you,” Comer said to CNN when asked if his colleagues had complained to him personally about just how badly he had fucked this whole thing up. “If you don’t think they were influence-peddling, there’s nothing to say. My God.” Oversight member and batshit sorceress Anna Paulina Luna admitted that Hunter Biden and his lawyer skated circles around them. “I feel like this was slow-rolled, and it’s been very frustrating for me as a new member because I feel like there’s way more that we could have done, and it just hasn’t been done in a timely fashion.”
An anonymous member lamented Comer overhyping everything needlessly – which is funny because we at National Zero wrote the same fucking thing over and over and over again. “I think early on, the most important thing to do is to let the evidence lead the investigation. And I think some of the earlier statements got a little more aspirational than the evidence really allowed,” the member said.
No shit. Of course the real problem was that, if they had like another 15 or 20 seats they could have gotten the votes to impeach Biden for not prosecuting Hillary Clinton for murdering children in Satanic rituals in a pizza dungeon. The math had set them up to fail. “With the margins that we have, we don’t have the votes to impeach the president on the floor,” said Georgia Congressman Austin Scott, almost but not quite realizing that himself. Still, it’s worth asking whether someone more competent than Comer could have gotten the job done even at this margin if they had focused on some actual misstep by the Biden Administration, during his presidency since January 20, 2021, and not like literal Russian intelligence propaganda and other made-up bullshit.
Not going to lose sleep over such questions. Let the losers who wasted so much time and energy getting excited over the “Biden Crime Family” fan fiction tales cry it out into their MyPillows all night.
