Low-production value right wing site “Power Line Blog” and its angry white nationalist dork founder John Hinderaker are apparently hell-bent on moral consistency-signaling to Democrats unconcerned with chasing recursive loop of bad faith whining from the MAGA internet. Seemingly inspired by the insights of “End Wokeness,” Hinderaker last week wrote “Democrats fret endlessly about Our Democracy™️, but who is undermining our actual democracy? They are. For example:”

“And of course that is only one day’s worth. The bigger picture is that the Democrats engineered a nomination process that was rigged in favor of Joe Biden. Only one renegade Democrat challenged a visibly incompetent Biden in the primaries, and he was brushed aside by the party,” Hinderaker continues, skipping the specifics about how the primary was “rigged” because Biden wouldn’t debate RFK Jr and Dean Phillips and fucking Marianne Williamson. Probably because that would require mentioning that his Orange God Emperor didn’t debate his primary opponents either.
Continued: “But then an unidentified committee of Democrats decided that Biden wouldn’t win and needed to be dispensed with. They forced him out of the race, despite the fact that all of the party’s convention delegates were pledged to him. Without any sort of process, they – whoever they are – then decreed that Kamala Harris would be their party’s nominee.” Lol at one of these assholes finally (obliquely) admitting the vagueness of the all-powerful and insidious “they.”
This guy’s STILL so butthurt a month and a half later that they did what they had to do. The main actor in the actual “they” is of course Joe Biden himself, who first sucked up his pride and did the right thing by giving democracy a fighting chance against Fat Hitler. Then he endorsed his constitutional successor, Vice President Kamala Harris. Then, this is important, if you want to say there was a “cabal” here it was Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, Andy Beshear, Josh Shapiro, and the others whom, just like their party’s current leader, put the country above their own ambitions and got behind the only candidate truly positioned to take over the nomination.
Hinderaker is projecting some crying onto Dem voters – who are universally much happier having Harris as the nominee – simply because he’s terrified Trump is likelier to lose now than he was against Joe Biden… A president he and other right wingers said was too old for a second term.
If Hinderaker felt more confident he wouldn’t give a shit. “So Harris, who never got a vote or secured a delegate in either 2016 or 2020, is now the favorite to be elected president, aided by the Democrats’ lawfare that forces third party candidates on and off ballots. And, to compound the absurdity, Harris is running as an outsider, blaming Donald Trump for the failures of her own administration. It’s all enough to make a banana republic blush,” he concludes.
