In an email obtained by the Nashville Banner, House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green’s wife Camilla told other members of Congress her dog of a husband has been sniffing a younger poodle and that Mark is “living life greatly deceived. I have offered reconciliation, and he wants nothing of it and has insisted on a divorce. Satan has rewritten our marriage in his mind.”

Congressman Green did not confirm any of the details other than the divorce in a statement to the Banner. “This is a difficult time for my family and me, and we are currently going through divorce proceedings. As this is a deeply private matter, I ask for privacy. I will continue to serve this district with all I’ve got, as I have the last five years,” said Green, who sure sounds guilty as charged.

Camilla wrote the young sidepiece is a 32 year-old woman who works for a DC-based news organization, which definitely narrows it down for those who would know. “I want to make others aware of how readily available ‘predators’ are for our husbands. If my story can prevent this tragedy from happening to someone else, I will tell it,” her email reads. Green, who of course sells himself as a conservative Christian, is portrayed predictably as having “pushed God out of his life” after spending time with other Congressional Republicans who are “having affairs and getting divorces, drinking, parties, all while hosting a weekly Bible study in the basement of our home.”
