“The Trump administration and the Ukrainian government have reached a deal designed to allow the US to tap some of Ukraine’s immense mineral wealth and to spur post-war development in the country,” Axios reports, citing two sources “close to the Ukrainian government,” copied verbatim not to mince words about the potential for the development. Further down Axios writes that there are no security guarantees yet in the agreement that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to travel to DC to sign in the coming days. Hopefully that’s a gap in reporting and not the agreement.
