Convicted felon President Trump’s regime did a 180 on previous plans to yank $187 million – just under half of that meant for the NYPD – in federal counterterrorism funds from law enforcement in New York State after pressure from both Dems and Republicans, the New York Times reports.
“The cuts, which represented the largest federal defunding of police operations in New York in decades, were made by the Department of Homeland Security, without the approval of President Trump, White House officials said,” the Times writes in their article, which does not also say who made that decision and why they haven’t been fired immediately because President Trump LOVES the police (and shows up at the white ones’ funerals), unlike the Dems, who want them defunded.
