A new Alaska Survey Research test of a hypothetical 2026 Senate matchup finds Dem former Congresswoman Mary Peltola leading incumbent Republican Dan Sullivan 48 to 46 percent among North Star State voters. Peltola, ousted last year by Republican Nick Begich III, has not announced her 2026 intent and has also been said to be considering a gubernatorial run next year.
Alaska Survey pollster Ivan Moore posted the findings on BlueSky Monday ahead of a full release on Tuesday, said the sample had voted 52 percent for convicted felon President Trump, 39 percent for former Vice President Kamala Harris, 9 percent “other,” but doesn’t say if it was weighted.
