This is a damn good channel with a damn good narrator. Please DO NOT let the terrible, corny intro credit with a different voiceover dissuade you from listening to the whole story. It’s brief and you can skip past it. Fred Kiger’s a hidden gem though the rest of his work relies on a certain continuity of the American Civil War and he tends to jump around it. Like a lot. There’s no straight line at all, lol.
So the dark early days of 1860 into 1861 are as good of a spot as any to intro you to his work.
