Anyway The George Hearld reports that the 58 year-old Van Jaarsveld was fatally attacked by a black rhino while on patrol on the Samara Karoo Reserve Thursday morning. “He will be sadly missed and we extend our deepest condolences to his family and team,” the reserve said in a statement.
