Leila Center, a co-founder of the Centner Academy private school in Miami sent a letter to faculty and staff that they wouldn’t be able to be in contact with students if they’d had the Covid19 vaccine, because of bogus claims she’d read on the Internet about the Covid19 interfering with womens’ menstrual cycles.
The New York Times reports Centner’s letter claimed that “reports have surfaced recently of non-vaccinated people being negatively impacted by interacting with people who have been vaccinated…Even among our own population, we have at least three women with menstrual cycles impacted after having spent time with a vaccinated person,” Mrs. Centner reportedly got her information from what is considered the most credible source of information to Trump supporters: random posts from other MAGA asshats on Facebook.
“The Centner Academy opened in 2019 for students in prekindergarten through eighth grade, promoting itself as a “happiness school” focused on children’s mindfulness and emotional intelligence. The school prominently advertises on its website support for “medical freedom from mandated vaccines.” Reminding us all that a lot of those flaky annoying new-agey types are also Trump worshipping shitheads. “Ms. Centner founded the school with her husband, David Centner, a technology and electronic highway tolling entrepreneur. Each has donated heavily to the Republican Party and the Trump re-election campaign.”
“In February, the Centners welcomed a special guest to speak to students: Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the prominent anti-vaccine activist.” Which means if the parents already knew the school was pulling that kind of shit and didn’t already pull their kids out then, the parents are all fucking idiots too.
