NOAA.gov: “Metereologists are already voicing concern over a tropical weather pattern developing in the Mid-Atlantic. Potential tropical cyclone FIVE is located at 9.6°N and 44.6°W as of 8PM AST on Wednesday June 30th.”
“The storm already has wind speeds of up to 35 mph, and given the recent heat wave that’s stretching across the United States, with daytime highs near 100 degrees Fahrenheit and overnight temperatures in excess of 80 on the Eastern coast of Florida, this disturbance could easily become the first Atlantic hurricane to hit the Eastern Coast of the United States in 2021.”
