Declaring that public health experts are being tuned out by Americans, Fox News host (and Eva Braun wannabe) Laura Ingraham said that they had “nobody to blame but [themselves],” and then went on to claim the police officers who were injured during the January 6th domestic terrorist attack at the Capitol are also to blame for their fate. “Ditto the Capitol Police, who testified on Capitol Hill on Wednesday.” (They testified on Tuesday, and they weren’t all Capitol Police, but you can’t expect Fox News to get facts right.)
“Despite the crowds that they had known for weeks would show up at the Capitol on January 6th,” Ingraham whines, “the Capitol Police couldn’t hold the Capitol perimeter on that day.”
Ingraham doesn’t discuss why Capitol Police should have been reinforced if the crowd was so loving and peaceful as Donald Trump (and Ingraham herself) has claimed.
