Former Trump White House Press Secretary and Melania Trump’s Chief of Staff Stephanie Grisham will meet with the House January 6th Select Committee on Wednesday, CNN reports.
Grisham, who was once mocked as a lazy alcoholic who did not hold a single press briefing during her stint in the key communications post, has since (in our view at least) been revealed to be a more sympathetic figure given the domestic abuse she suffered at the hands of former Trump minion turned House Republican candidate Max Miller, as well as the damaging reveals she included in a book she published. “I don’t think I can rebrand. I think this will follow me forever. I believe that I was part of something unusually evil, and I hope that it was a one-time lesson for our country and that I can be a part of making sure that at least that evil doesn’t come back now” said Grisham in an interview with New York Magazine’s Olivia Nuzzi in October.
