It is a fraud for @gofundme to commandeer $9M in donations sent to support truckers and give it to causes of their own choosing.
I will work with @AGAshleyMoody to investigate these deceptive practices — these donors should be given a refund.

UPDATE 2/5/22 12:41 PM EST: Early on Saturday GoFundMe backed off their plan to redistribute all of the frozen funds to real charities in the next few weeks if donors did not request a refund by the 19th and will instead automatically refund the donations. It’s obvious DeSantis isn’t aware of that, but even if he was, he’d probably still be claiming he was sending the AG after them.
