All 219 House Democrats and 143 Republicans voted yes Tuesday on HR 831, a bill “Calling on the United States Government to uphold the founding democratic principles of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and establish a Center for Democratic Resilience within the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, as amended.”
Meaning 63 Republicans voted against “Democratic Resilience.” Maybe they were just confused and though the “Democratic” meant it was somehow going to help the Democratic Party win more elections. That could be it. They have been known to get confused about those sort of things.
