DC Circuit Court Judge Timothy Kelly dismissed on late Sunday night the Republican National Committee’s lawsuit against the House January 6th Select Committee seeking to block a subpoena to Salesforce for the GOP’s fundraising data. The court will continue the RNC’s case against Salesforce attempting to block their compliance with the subpoena, but it’s not looking good.
Worse for the MAGA cult are the following rulings that will likely impact other bullshit lawsuits against the committee: That the panel is properly constituted, even without a full slate of 13 members, Liz Cheney can be considered the ranking member, and that the subpoena has against the RNC has a “valid legislative purpose.” That last one has to sting in particular since its inclusion in pretty much every complaint against a House subpoena since the Dems took over in 2019.
