The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission are working to determine the species of a dead shark found strapped up by bungie cords at a high school south of Jacksonville, the Miami Herald reports. That the mascot of Ponte Vedra HS is a shark makes the implication as well as the culprits obvious, and if the shark was an endangered species then someone at one of Ponte Vedra’s rival schools will have some explaining to do. And that is damn good rigging job that few if any high schoolers would be capable of without adult help, never mind actually acquiring the shark.
