A Washington, DC judge threw out a defamation lawsuit Donald Trump cheerleader and ripped styrofoam pitchman Mike Lindell filed against Dominion Voting Systems calling the case “frivolous” and ordered Lindell and his attorneys to pay Dominion’s legal fees, Bloomberg Law reports.
Lindell filed the suits against the two companies after they sued him for defamation following his repeated statements that the voting technology companies intentionally altered the results of the 2020 presidential election to cause Trump to lose. In fact, Trump lost both the popular vote, again, and the Electoral College count without interference, as countless investigations have proven. Trump says he was cheated.
“Whatever the judge thinks, that’s his opinion,” Lindell said in a call with Bloomberg Law, in which he said he was preparing for investigations for the upcoming election where Dominion and Smartmatic systems will be used. “I’ve got lawyers doing more important things like removing these machines from every state.”
