The second of six public hearings for the House January 6th Select Committee will start at 10:30 AM Monday, pushed back shortly by Trump 2020 campaign manager Bill Stepien canceling his appearance as his wife went into labor. Stepien’s lawyer will read a statement from the former campaign manager instead. Former US Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia BJay Pak and former Fox News decision desk editor Chris Stirewalt – both of whom were fired because of Trump’s inability to admit he lost the 2020 election – will appear, as will George W Bush 2000 lawyer Ben Ginsburg, and others, with the main topic being evidence that Trump knew full well he lost the election legitimately, but still tried to overturn it anyway like the sore loser he is.
The next hearing will be on Wednesday morning. Pence’s chief counsel will reportedly testify.
