I gotta admit: I’m a little impressed. Props to Laura Ingraham for her move in this clip. Here, one of “Donnie’s Angels” squad of lawyers, Christina Bobb, tries to explain to Ingraham why she didn’t join any of the motions or file a motion of their own in the hearing about the release of the affidavit submitted to get the search and seizure warrant for Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago supper club and upscale flop house. Bobb said they just wanted to see how the hearing “played out” before making a motion.
Realizing that Bobb doesn’t know what she’s talking about, Ingraham jumps in and gives a live-on-the-air law school lesson on abandoning the ability to join a later action: By not being part of earlier motions about the affidavit, Bobb may have forfeited the ability to object at a later part of the disclosure. It’s impressive that Ingraham schooled her own guest to show that the lawyer doesn’t know the applicable law. It’s unusual for us here at NatZero to tout the actions of a Fox propaganda network host–hell, this may be a first–but Ingraham really demonstrated to her audience that Trump’s lawyers are stupid. And she did it looking refreshed after her recent vacati– oh, my gawd, what is happening to me!
I wonder if Donnie was watching, and if he’ll need to find a “Cheryl Ladd” to replace his current “Farrah Fawcett.”
