“Well, I think considering the fact that this is the first, uh, airing of a former president’s home for, ah gack putter, potentially information whatever they think’s wrong, plus the way Hillary Clinton’s negotiation a-and ah, emails were handled, Steele dossier, Carter Page, FISA, you can name a lot of ’em,” GOP Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley, the oldest Republican in Congress, stammered as he tried to get all the deflection points in. “There’s evidence of the handle one thing one way for Democrats and another way, thing for Republicans, and I think I’ve poven [sic] some political bias in regard to Hunter Biden a-and Trump in the, ah, FBI so I think full transparency is what’s really called for in this very extraordinary situation.”
Yes, there is a double standard, Chuck: Republicans lambasted Hillary Clinton when she complied with a subpoena and sat for hours of partisan questioning as the Republican-led House conducted no fewer than seven separate investigations into her actions on various things in what was literally a witch hunt because all of them determined there was no criminal wrongdoing. And to repeat: Hunter Biden is not an elected official, nor did Hunter Biden hide evidence or steal Top Secret documents and then lie about it.
