An aide to renowned imbiber and the last guy in Manhattan to use Brylcreem Rudy Giuliani incongruously asked Donald Trump for a presidential pardon and a Presidential Medal of Freedom for Guiliani in letter sent in the wake of the January 6th Republican-led domestic terrorist attack on Congress, the New York Times.

The pardon would have been for his self-assumed criminal actions in trying to undermine the Constitution by falsely installing Donald Trump for a second term, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom would have been for saving the Republic by undermining the Constitution and falsely installing Donald Trump for a second term, as well as his work as Mayor of New York City who stood on a pile of rubble after the September 11th foreign terrorist attacks.

According to a new book by journalist Andrew Kirtzman, an associate sent Trump a letter on Giuliani’s behalf asking for the two presidential actions in the days following the January 6th attack.  The associated, Maria Ryan, reportedly also tried to get Trump to pay Rudy for his legal work on Trump’s behalf, and she tried to get Trump to pay her tens of thousands of dollars for her work.

Ryan is a co-host on Giuliani’s radio show.  Giuliani’s former police chief, disgraced felon Bernie Kerik, intercepted the letter before it was sent to Trump.

“Dear Mr. President,” Ms. Ryan wrote in the January 10, 2021 letter. “I tried to call you yesterday to talk about business. The honorable Rudy Giuliani has worked 24/7 on the voter fraud issues. He has led a team of lawyers, data analysts and investigators,” adding “He needs to be paid for his services. … As you know, he lost his job and income and more defending you during the Russia hoax investigation and then the impeachment pro bono.”

Ryan noted that she had sent an invoice to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, implying that Ryan thought the federal government, not the Trump campaign, should pay Rudy’s bill.  She then requested that Trump bestow the Presidential Medal of Freedom onto Giuliani in Trump’s last days in office, saying “Mr. Giuliani rarely asks for anything for himself. He is praying you present him with this on Friday, January 15 or Monday the 19.”

Rudy never got the medal, and it’s unknown if he ever got paid.
