Convicted felon President Trump will supposedly speak with reporters on board Air Force One as he heads to Florida for the weekend instead of doing actual work in the White House. Earlier the fat bastard ignored questions from reporters about Primategate (sorry) so let’s see how this goes.

On Friday CBS News reported that the fat fuck took it down after Tim Scott, the only Black Republican in the Senate, called the Orange Pharaoh personally to ask him to do so because it was pretty obviously insulting to all African-Americans, not just the Obamas. Trump gave Scott the same lame excuse that White House comms minions had told various outlets: That it was a staffer’s fault.

The problem, and there’s always a problem, is that demented Donald has on at least one occasion told his fans that only he and his top minion Dan Scavino have access to the account. One would have to really dig into the past patterns to sort this out but typically when Scavino’s at the wheel it’s just a flurry of right wing website articles closer to more normal working hours, not friggin 11:45 PM.

Honestly the apes thing was at the very end and it’d be easy to miss if you didn’t watch the whole thing, which is almost certainly what happened when Trump, not Scavino, posted it on Thursday night. But admitting the mistake and saying “Sorry, I wouldn’t have posted it had I known. Obviously I never liked Obama but that’s too much,” is simply outside of Trump’s irreversibly impaired faculties.

A not-very exhaustive fact-check by CNN’s Daniel Dale reveals that, despite convicted felon President Trump’s claims during this week’s stupid “National Prayer Breakfast,” he did not secure the release, amnesty, and US asylum grant of Sudanese Christian activist Mariam Ibrahim just prior to her scheduled execution because he was not president yet when it happened in 2014.

“I did that. I did that. I did that with one phone call, actually,” Trump said. “And she had such support, it was so easy. And when I explained it to the powers that be: ‘Yes, sir, we will do it right away.’”

The Obama Administration secured her release. Dale postulates that Trump is so addled that he’s hallucinating the swift negotiation with the deferential Sudanese officials to secure Ibrahim’s release simply because she was invited to the White House in 2019. She was one of several religious persecution victims there at an event, and she probably did thank him for hosting her and what not.

In other questionable claims of credit, the fat bastard on Friday posted “The ‘Experts’ said that if I hit 50,000 on the Dow by the end of my Term, I would have done a great job, but I hit 50,000 today, three years ahead of schedule – Remember that for the Midterms, because Democrats will CRASH the Economy!” trotting out the same stupid fucking bullshit that didn’t work back in 2018 either.

“In keeping with the Department of Justice’s commitment to maximum transparency regarding our compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, I am writing to confirm that the Department is making unredacted versions of the more than three million pages of publicly released documents available for review by members of both Houses of Congress beginning on Monday, February 9, 2026,” says the Justice Department in a memo to every member of Congress.

“Any member of Congress who wants to review the unredacted documents will be able to do so pursuant to the protocol outlined here (1) The review will take place on computers in a reading room at the Department of Justice from 9:00am to 6:00pm Mondays through Fridays. (2) Members must give the Department’s Office of Legislative Affairs at least 24 hours’ notice of their preferred reviewing time. (3) No outside electronic devices will be allowed in the reading room.”

“(4) Members may take notes. (5) Members must abide by all applicable legal restrictions regarding the dissemination of any information reviewed. (6) The Department will keep a log of the dates and times of all members’ reviews. (7) The review is only open to members themselves; staff will not be allowed in the reading room,” the memo continued. Think of your favorite redactions and email your (or your nearest) Democratic member or Senator to make requests for specific searches.

A Bronx judge on Friday delivered a bench verdict of guilty in the state’s manslaughter case against 38 year-old NYPD Sgt Erik Duran in the fatal August 2023 Igloo cooler-ing of 30 year-old drug dealing suspect Erik Duprey, WABC reports. Duran and his squad had just caught Duprey – also a DoorDash driver – selling an unspecified quantity of an unspecified narcotic substance to an undercover cop when Duprey jumped back on his electric bike and attempted to flee the scene.

Duran then picked up a mid-sized red Igloo cooler and flung it at Duprey, causing the suspect to lose control of his electric bike and suffer a fatal head injury after crashing into a tree. It’s not clear when the last time an NYPD officer used anything other than a gun, a taser, or a squad car to kill a fleeing suspect. Also unclear is whom the cooler belonged to and if they’ll get it back now that the trial is over. Prosecutors with the New York Attorney General’s office displayed it in court during the trial.

A Missouri federal judge on Thursday tossed the Show Me State’s batshit stupid lawsuit against Starbucks alleging that service quality was suffering because the global coffee chain hired too many women and minorities, KTVI reports on the fate a case that now-Deputy FBI Director Andrew Bailey had abandoned when he quit his post as Attorney General to go work under fucking Kash Patel.

District judge John Ross ruled that the state did not identify “even a single Missouri resident” who was denied a job or otherwise harmed due to Starbucks’ employment practices and yeah, no shit. Bailey’s a DC-area resident now and he wasn’t available to testify that some 19 year-old Black woman was a little extra chatty with a coworker while he was waiting for his latte, therefore DEI.

Amodei is 67 and could stick around at least another three or four terms in his safe red seat if he really wanted to. Not hard to imagine the frustrations of that stretch are weighing on his decision to quit.

Convicted felon President Trump’s servants have indirectly admitted he’s a fat fucking racist and removed the Obama apes video from his personal Truth Social feed, CNN’s Alayna Treene reports, writing that “The White House has now taken down the post. A senior WH official tells me: ‘A White House staffer erroneously made the post. It has been taken down.’ It was up for 12 hours.”

Copied that verbatim to carry the credulity in Treene’s reporting because the video was posted at (roughly) 11:44 PM EST on Thursday night. Who the hell else is using Trump’s Truth Social feed at that hour if not the top “staffer” in the White House? The other part about the White House taking it down for him is 100 percent believable though. Of course he wouldn’t admit fault by doing it himself.

McKillips is really stepping down and his name really is in the Epstein files, appearing once on a list of speakers at some 2018 conference that some guy named Aziza Alahmadi copied and pasted in an email to Dirty Jeff. The facts at hand here demonstrate that any schmuck on the internet with a platform can impugn the name of an exec who may or may not otherwise be an asshole degenerate simply because it’s easy to imply causality to his departure by omission.

McKillips was with Six Flags at the time. Why he’s actually leaving Chuck E Cheese is not clear but that it’s obviously a planned and orderly succession should tell you the terms are at least amicable enough. Maybe he’s taking over at Dave and Buster’s, who cares. The actual problem here is that McKillips can be impugned by that technically accurate headline while the name of whoever Jeff emailed to say “where are you? are you ok, I loved the torture video,” in 2009 is completely opaque.

Two South Florida residents on Thursday petitioned a court to block heels-wearing Governor Ron DeSantis’s planned attempt to redraw the state’s congressional maps to make it easier for Republicans to win, arguing it’s a violation of the state constitution, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Arguing that Tiny D and Secretary of State Cord Byrd’s prep maneuvers “commandeer the Legislature’s authority to decide whether and when to re-draw Florida’s congressional boundaries” and that their “actions have already disrupted Florida’s impending elections by casting significant uncertainty on the future of Florida’s congressional map and the relevant candidate filing deadlines,” the petitioners, backed by Dem elections lawyer Marc Elias and a Florida-based voting litigation firm, seek and enjoiner on the grounds of the state’s “strict separation of powers doctrine.”

Sounds solid, making the only real question what kind of outcome-based justification the state Supreme Court will come up with to allow DeSantis and his minions to go ahead and gerrymander.

At an estimated 91 percent counted per the New York Times‘s tracker, 61,382 votes were cast in the Dem primary, exceeding the 51,848 cast in the June 4, 2024 primary when now-Senator Andy Kim was challenging Gold Bars Bob Menendez statewide and the 37,948 in the 2022 D primary when Sherrill was running uncontested (probably because of something something machine politics).

The turnout surge could be chalked up to how tightly contested it was: Former Bernie Sanders aide Analilia Mejia leads former NJ-7 Dem Congressman Tom Malinowski by 0.79 percent and the race is still too close to call. Punchbowl News reports that AIPAC fucked themselves by spending against Malinowski for the sin of reading the room and being open to conditioning to Israel only to end up with Mejia in the lead and you already guessed that she’s not a skinnier female Randy Fine.

Contested or not it’s still noteworthy for turnout in a special election primary on a random Thursday night in February to be significantly higher than it was during the last two regular D primaries.
