“The Republicans are going to do a Midterm Convention in order to show the great things we have done since the Presidential Election of 2024. Time and place to be determined. Stay tuned, it will be quite the Event, and very exciting!” posted convicted felon President Trump on Tuesday, obviously already working on charging Republican donors to host the convention at one of his properties.

Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft has been warning producers and customers they may have to start cutting supplies as Ukrainian drone attacks have been taking a serious toll on infrastructure and terminal ports, Reuters reports citing industry sources in the toxic dump of country.
Transneft denied the report in a statement on their website, calling the news “fake” and part of the West’s “information war” against Russia. Guess they’re the experts on that kind of shit, right?
Tough call on the headline there. Wanted to go with “MAHA” instead of “QAnon” as tribute to Bobby Brainworms’ claiming that “Wifi radiation opens up your blood-brain barrier so all these toxins that are in your body can now go into your brain” on other stupid asshole Joe Rogan’s show a few years ago – plus “Make Afghanistan Healthy Again” is right there – but that wifi dumbassery is still pretty deep in Bobby Kennedy Jr’s catalog of greatest batshit stupid conspiracy theory hits.
QAnon’s the more natural, if slightly less daring choice, just sub wifi with 5G here, especially given the metaphysical element of “immortality” that would be right at home with a shit ton of just absolute fucking weirdness over the years from those freaks. So yeah, the AP reports that Taliban Supreme Leader Hibatullah Akhundzada has ordered a ban on wifi, but only in the northern Balkh province, enforcing that ban by simply ending cable internet access, meaning that if your device is hardwired via Cat-5 then well too bad. “This measure was taken to prevent immorality, and an alternative will be built within the country for necessities,” said Balkh provincial government spokesman Haji Attaullah Zaid, who the AP notes gave zero further info or details whatsoever.
Mobile data, possibly carried on 5G waves, still works in the province. Nobody has any idea what the hell’s going on and a local who asked not to be named for fear of getting murdered by the Taliban said “Blocking the internet is beyond my comprehension in such an advanced era.”
Get rid of her. Today. This is insane. Conservatives have fought for decades for the right to refuse service to anyone. We won that fight. Now Pam Bondi wants to roll it all back for no reason. The employee who didn’t print the flyer was already fired by his employer. This stuff… https://t.co/Ry7PEUz1ca

“This stuff is being handled successfully through free speech and free markets. This is totally gratuitous and pointless. We need the AG focused on bringing down the left wing terror cells, not prosecuting Office Depot for God’s sake,” Walsh continued in his angry screed.
“Having reviewed, among other things: (i) NBC News letter applications, dated August 13, 2025 and September 12, 2025, to ‘unseal’ the names of two individuals (‘Individual-1 and Individual-2’) who had been included in the Government’s July 16, 2019 application to detain (remand) Epstein pending trial; (ii) the letter, dated September 5, 2025, from Brittany N Henderson and Bradley J Edwards, counsel to Epstein victims, contending that ‘it is imperative that the [two] names remain sealed, as disclosure poses a real threat to victims’ safety and privacy and would be in violation of 18 USC § 3771′ (the ‘Crime Victims’ Rights Act’), and (iii) the Government’s opposition to unsealing. The names of Individual-1 and Individual-2 should remain sealed to protect their legitimate privacy interests,’ see Gov’t Resp, dated Sept 5, 2025, at 3 (ECF No. 79); the Court denies NBC News’ applications to unseal the names of Individual-1 and Individual-2 and orders that the two names shall remain sealed,” wrote SDNY Judge Rochard Berman in a Tuesday ruling spiking NBC’s bid to unseal the names of two individuals who received wire transfers from dead sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein prior to his 2008 “sweetheart deal” with future Trump Labor Secretary Alex Acosta.
The names were blacked out of a 2019 filing mentioning the two as potential co-conspirators in the case against Jeff that died with him in August of that year. AllRise’s Adam Klasfeld speculates that the two are actually both victims and co-conspirators because what Jeff ran was a pyramid scheme in which his victims were paid extra to recruit new victims into his and Ghislaine’s harem. Klasfeld points out that it was indeed a victim‘s lawyer or lawyers who had fought against this unsealing.
The upshot being that it is EXTREMELY likely that this mini-drama has, unlike so much else in the long Epstein saga, actually been resolved even if the exact names will remain sealed indefinitely.
“Trump’s tariffs are coursing through the American (and world) economy, even if their macro effects are taking time to show up in the national statistics. Consider a case study in the daily institution of millions that is morning coffee. This summer Mr Trump hit Brazil with a 50 percent tariff because he said the country is prosecuting his friend, Jair Bolsonaro. One problem for Americans is that Brazil is the world’s biggest coffee producer, and its beans are in more than one of every three cups of joe brewed in the US Every American coffee drinker either is paying more or soon will as a result. The US has only a few regions suitable for growing coffee, and the amount they produce isn’t grande.”
“Other countries face lower tariffs, but they can’t match Brazil’s supply, and as demand increases for beans from alternative sources, prices for non-Brazilian coffee will rise too, says Albert Scalla, the senior vice president of trading at the commodity broker StoneX… Tariffs at their essence are an income transfer from millions of individuals and businesses to the US government. Like all taxes, they’re a windfall for politicians. In the case of coffee, tariffs don’t even protect a domestic constituency. They are a tax on American consumption pure and simple—a tax on MAGA’s forgotten man,” writes the Wall Street Journal’s editorial board in a darkly scalding take.

They needed to say something even though they shouldn’t really have to in response to the Orange God Emperor’s latest frivolous bullshit lawsuit on Tuesday, so the New York Times kept it short and sweet with “This lawsuit has no merit. It lacks any legitimate legal claims and instead is an attempt to stifle and discourage independent reporting. The New York Times will not be deterred by intimidation tactics. We will continue to pursue the facts without fear or favor and stand up for journalists’ First Amendment right to ask questions on behalf of the American people.”
A Manhattan judge on Tuesday tossed the State of New York’s two terrorism charges against UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s assassin Luigi Mangione, ruling that the counts in the indictment stretched too far on the definition of terrorism and ignored “other, more explicit excerpts from defendant’s writings in which he states that his goal is to spread a ‘message’ and ‘win public support’ about ‘everything wrong with our health system.’ Therefore, the court finds that the People failed to establish an intent to ‘influence’ or ‘affect’ government. This court will focus on the intent element that both sides appear to emphasize – the intimidation or coercion of a civilian population.”
Mangione’s defense however took a bigger ding on another key ruling, pausing the state trial so the federal one could proceed first, the argument being that a conviction at the state level could prejudice his case in federal court – where he faces the death penalty. Judge said no dice on that.
An unidentified Massachusetts teenager was detained and then released by ICE agents in the town of Milford on Friday after a crowd surrounded the vehicle and prevented the MAGA stormtroopers from bringing the kid to the gulag, MassLive reports on another small L for the reich.
“Governor Kathy Hochul’s job approval and favorability ratings are both up a little from last month, and her favorability rating, 45-42 percent (42-44 percent in August), is now the best it’s been since January 2024, according to a new Siena Poll of New York State registered voters released today.”
“A majority or plurality of voters believe Hochul works hard, demonstrates honesty, gets things done, provides decisive leadership, and cares about people. Four of the five are up significantly from June 2024 (this is first time ‘get things done’ was asked). Hochul (D) now leads Rep Elise Stefanik (R) 52-27 percent, in a gubernatorial matchup, up from 45-31 percent last month, and the first time Hochul has support from more than 50 percent of voters,” says Siena College’s polling press release.
Damn. While having that evil monster as governor would suck it also sucks that she hasn’t declared yet and this polling definitely does not get us any closer to a world where Elise Stefanik is simply out of politics and nobody has to see her 75+ minute daily Maybelline job face again. Just over the summer Stef went from “It’s not a question of if – it’s a question of when I announce, at the time and place of my choosing,” on June 29 to “I will make a final decision and announcement after this year’s November election which we are all focused on” less than a month later. Hochul’s lead just went from freaking 14 percent to 25 percent without her lifting a goddamned finger. Very concerning.
In what is definitely highest-profile and possibly the fastest and most complete partisan transformation of a political career since 2017, ex-Republican former Georgia Lt Governor Geoff Duncan on Tuesday launched his bid for the Peach State’s top office as a Democrat, setting up a possible matchup with his successor, fake Trump 2020 elector and current Lt Gov Burt Jones.
Good on Geoff Duncan for doing what pretty much nobody else at such a high level of Republican politics has had the balls to do. There could and should have been so many more campaigns like this over the last decade and only now in goddamned 2025 is there ONE notable former Republican-turned-Dem actually running for a major statewide office. Whether he can actually pull off a Dem primary win when former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms has already declared is a question for Georgia politics geeks, but simply launching a bid on the other team is significant on its own.

“Today, I have the Great Honor of bringing a $15 Billion Dollar Defamation and Libel Lawsuit against The New York Times, one of the worst and most degenerate newspapers in the History of our Country, becoming a virtual ‘mouthpiece’ for the Radical Left Democrat Party. I view it as the single largest illegal Campaign contribution, EVER. Their Endorsement of Kamala Harris was actually put dead center on the front page of The New York Times, something heretofore UNHEARD OF!”
“The ‘Times’ has engaged in a decades long method of lying about your Favorite President (ME!), my family, business, the America First Movement, MAGA, and our Nation as a whole. I am PROUD to hold this once respected ‘rag’ responsible, as we are doing with the Fake News Networks such as our successful litigation against George Slopadopoulos / ABC / Disney, and 60 Minutes / CBS / Paramount, who knew that they were falsely ‘smearing’ me through a highly sophisticated system of document and visual alteration, which was, in effect, a malicious form of defamation, and thus, settled for record amounts. They practiced this longterm INTENT and pattern of abuse, which is both unacceptable and illegal. The New York Times has been allowed to freely lie, smear, and defame me for far too long, and that stops, NOW! The suit is being brought in the Great State of Florida. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” posted convicted felon President Trump late Monday. The text of the complaint was not linked, naturally.
A panel of experts for the UN Human Rights Council on Tuesday issued a report concluding “that the Israeli security forces committed crimes against humanity, war crimes and the actus reus of two underlying acts of genocide in Gaza, the Commission now addresses the issue of genocide. The Commission analyses the conduct of the Israeli security forces in Gaza starting in October 2023, excluding other geographical and temporal aspects, and state responsibility under international law under the Genocide Convention. The Commission refers to its relevant factual findings in relation to the Israeli military operations in Gaza and examines if such findings fulfil the requirements to establish the actus reus and mens rea of genocide and, if so, the legal consequences for Israel and other States under the Genocide Convention.”
A three-judge panel at the DC Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday split to 2 to 1 against convicted felon President Trump’s emergency bid lift the stay blocking him from firing Fed Board of Governors member Lisa Cook ahead of the monthly two-day meeting starting Tuesday.
Hell-bent on erasing Antebellum America’s negative image, convicted felon President Trump’s regime has been removing exhibits on slavery from national parks, including the historic 1863 pic of former slave Peter Gordon showing the whipping scars on his back, the Washington Post reports.
The Republican challenger to sitting Dem Virginia state Delegate Michelle Maldonado in the 20th District dropped out of the race Monday to take a job out of the state after having been DOGEd from his federal contractor position needlessly by convicted felon President Trump’s regime a few months ago, the Prince William Times reports on elections having consequences on other elections.
Truth be told GOP nominee Chris Stone was a longshot for the seat in a district – one that former Vice President Kamala Harris won with 55 percent of the vote last year – given the current popularity of the Reich in the Northern Virginia suburbs. But it wasn’t an absolute impossibility.
Until it was. “I pressed ahead with the campaign, expecting it to be a short-term issue,” Stone said in an email to the Times. “But now that our family budget is tight due to no income, I have to do what’s best for my family and take the job I’m offered,” Stone continued and damn that’s gotta be freaking frustrating as hell for whoever donated to his campaign and put up signs and shit, lol. It’s too late to remove Stone from the ballot but, per the Times, voters will be informed that he’s dropped out via some unspecified notice and the GOP can still promote a write-in candidate… if they can find one.
