Last night’s interview with President Trump’s niece Dr. Mary L. Trump earned “The Rachel Maddow Show” its highest viewership ever, with 5.23 million viewers, making it the most watched show on cable Thursday, according to AdWeek and showbuzzdaily.com.
The revelatory interview expounded on Dr. Trump’s newly-released book on Donald Trump and the Trump family, “Too Much and Never Enough,” which set a single-day sales record for its publisher, Simon & Schuster.
The shows previous high was the January 15, 2020 interview with Lev Parnas, an associate of Rudy Giuliani who worked to help promote Donald Trump’s Hunter Biden conspiracy theory. That show garnered 4.5 million viewers.
Sean Hannity’s viewership was just 3.8 million.
In the 10 o’clock ET hour, Lawrence O’Donnell’s “Last Word” beat Laura Ingraham’s “The Angle”.
