Currently, Texas is a statistical tie in the 2020 presidential race, with presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden trailing Donald Trump by just 0.2% in the RealClearPolitics average.

In the more statistical-science driven FiveThirtyEight average, Trump has just a 0.3% lead: 46.2% for Trump to 45.9% to Biden.

In 2016, Trump won Texas by nine percentage points.
