Ohio State University announced that it has canceled Spring Break for next semester in an effort to keep students on campus and prevent a new outbreak of coronavirus at the college, CNN reports.
The school will add two days of vacation in February and March instead of the scheduled week off, according to a letter sent by Executive Vice President and Provost Bruce A. McPheron to students and faculty on Friday.
More than 2,000 students on campus have tested positive for coronavirus, with a positive test rate of nearly 4%.
