Multiple news outlets reporting that President Trump is being moved from the White House residence to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Friday afternoon.
Trump was transported by military helicopter to the hospital, where he will spend a few days at the advice of medical staff.
Last November, Trump was rushed to Walter Reed for an unscheduled procedure. In a rare move, Vice President Pence was put “on notice” to take over the duties of the presidency should Trump need to go under anesthesia. The White House later dismissed the urgent visit as Trump starting his annual physical earlier than schedule; the rest of the annual physical reportedly happened four months later.
