Members of the Trump family, Vice President Mike Pence and other surrogates will pick up campaigning activities for the Trump-Pence campaign, including in-person rallies, even as Trump lies in a hospital bed at Walter Reed Military Medical Center, US News reports.
Pence, Don Jr., Eric and Lara Trump will undertake a schedule of tours after the October 8th vice presidential debate between Pence and Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Kamala Harris. Presumably, Eric Trump will be able to campaign after giving a deposition in the Trump Organization financial investigation.
"Operation MAGA will fire up the entire MAGA universe to keep President Trump's campaign at full speed until our commander-in-chief returns to the campaign trail," Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien said in a Saturday statement. Stepien is self-isolating and working from home after testing positive for the coronavirus.
The campaign has not stated if any future events will require people to socially distance or wear masks, guidelines recommended by the CDC to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
