In several phone calls with the White House, Trump pushed for some type of “Superman” stunt to show that he was stronger than the virus and promote the idea that his superior genes protected him.
Trump has repeatedly said that he’s not feeling any lingering effects of the coronavirus, even though in non-edited interviews, he audibly can be heard gasping for air or coughing. He’s claimed that he will get the treatment he received at Walter Reed to every American coronavirus patients, even though the treatments are still experimental and there has been no completed clinical trials.
