NBC News & CNN call Arizona for Biden

At 11:15 p.m. ET, NBC News called the presidential race in Arizona. The win gives Biden 290 Electoral College votes. CNN quickly followed the NBC call, giving Biden the win.

Around 11,000 votes are remaining to be counted in the state, with Trump winning about 52-55% of the remaining vote. That’s not enough to overcome the 11,034 lead Biden has amassed.

Arizona has now elected two Democrats to the Senate and voted for the Democratic nominee for president.

The Associated Press and Fox News had called Arizona for Biden on Election Day, but no other major media outlets had joined their assessment. Decision Desk made the call earlier today. NBC becomes the first major network to put Arizona in Biden’s column.
