In an effort to reestablish its business opportunities, Dominion Voting Systems has taken advertisements out on conservative radio talk shows in Louisiana, which has an upcoming purchase of voting machines planned, Politico reports.

The ads, which were broadcast on “The Moon Griffon Show” as well as on The Haywire, a right-wing political blog focusing on Louisiana politics, promote Dominion as a “proud American company” and touted the state’s use of Dominion machines in the past.

“Dominion provides machines that do one simple thing: accurately and honestly help local elected officials count your votes,” the ad states. “Every single statewide elected official in Louisiana, Republican and Democrat, was elected using Dominion machines. Using those same Dominion machines, President Trump won Louisiana with more votes in 2020 than he did in 2016.”

Louisiana is in the process of accepting bids to replace more than 10,000 voting machines that are more than two decades old.  The contract could be worth more than $100 million to the company awarded it.

Dominion is attempting to head off public outcry caused by lies spread about the company in conservative circles.  It has filed numerous lawsuits against people who have continued to promote, without evidence, conspiracy theories that Dominion is a foreign owned company, that it shipped voted overseas to be counted, and that its machines are programmed to flip votes to a specific candidate.

The company has filed billion-dollar lawsuits against Donald Trump’s previous lawyer Rudy Giuliani, lawyer Sidney Powell, pillow maker and martial law advocate Mike Lindell, OAN, Fox News and others who have promoted and broadcast the debunked claims.
