Crooked Race Theory (CRT) indoctrination isn’t illegal under federal law. But Americans must now go further and protect all uneducated dumbasses from conspiracy fantasy bullshit by asserting the truth: Joe Biden won and none of your fucking fantasies about Italian satellites and bamboo ballots are going to change the outcome of the 2020 election. Many parents might not yet understand what CRT is. The ideology has gone by a number of names in recent months: “Stop the Steal”, “Democrats cheated”, “Patriotism”. MAGA media personalities have generated convoluted justifications and rationalizations for it; right wing journalists and this one pillow company owner have crafted stilted narratives to promote it. But at its core and in practice, CRT amounts to institutionalized racial hatred – specifically toward the Black voters in Atlanta, Detroit, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, and Latino voters in Phoenix and Las Vegas.

When Aaron Van Langevelde, a lawyer and a member of the Michigan State Board of canvassers objected to CRT when certifying the state’s election results, the Republican lawyer said straight up: “As John Adams once said, we are a government of laws, not men. This board needs to adhere to that principle here today. This board must do its part to uphold the rule of law and comply with our legal duty to certify this election” before voting to certify in the face of furious opposition from MAGA Michiganders. Former Vice President Mike Pence said he had no constitutional authority to do anything other than certify the election on January 6th. Even MAGA GOP Senators Tom Cotton, Mitch McConnell, and Lindsey Graham wanted nothing to do with Fat Donald’s election challenges.

Anyone who doesn’t immediately understand how morally abhorrent this all is need only swap the races and/or parties used in these statements. Can you imagine if Former President Obama had told then-Vice President Joe Biden to not be a pussy and just not certify Trump’s election in 2017? If Trump had won reelection and BLM and Antifa had stormed the Capitol instead of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers? There would be a massive backlash against the libs and Fox News’s ratings would triple. And yet, in reality, Crooked Race Theory is shaping a backlash against voting rights across the nation, throwing up Kafkaesque obstacles to the franchise in states such as Georgia, Arizona, Texas, Florida – anywhere where the Republican Party finds their power threatened by the increasing assertion of political power by non-white Americans as well as the white suburban Americans who want nothing to do with MAGA White Nationalist bullshit.

We, as a nation, must not address the legacy of institutional racism by institutionalizing a new form of racism in our elections. As the Republican party appears to have abandoned its founding principle to protect all Black American from racial discrimination, GOP state legislatures must step forward and accept the responsibility of what happens when you fuck around and find out.
