- At this pace, 2021 will finish with the greatest US job creation numbers of any year since the end of World War II–and probably ever. Biden's created more jobs already than Trump lost in his four years. Biden's numbers are greater than six post-war presidents (5 R's/1 D) and the two Bushes combined.
- Remember when conservatives lambasted The Chicks (nee, The Dixie Chicks) for complaining about the President while overseas? Where are they on Tucker Carlson doing the same thing in Hungary? I guess Tucker doesn't think the United States is the greatest nation ever anymore.
- Listening to conservatives actively and loudly root for American athletes to fail at the Olympics shows how un-American their hearts really are.
- Anti-vaxxers are essentially the children who will never eat vegetables out of spite because Mother said they were good for them.
- If you don't want to get the vaccine for yourself, get it for your family. Get it for your friends. Get it so you don't have to bitch about masks again. (Oh, and wear a mask because your ilk caused the latest spike.)
- My favorite Republican screw-up this week was Ted Cruz favorably comparing anti-vaxxers to smokers, without realizing the federal government worked to eliminate smoking because it can kill you and the people around you. So, yes, let's do the same to anti-vaxxers: ban them from restaurants and make them stand in the rain 100 feet from a doorway if they want to indulge.

- Former US Attorney and person who violated his professional oath Jeffrey Clark should be disbarred for attempting to nullify the Electoral College vote in December 2020. All politics aside, former attorney general Jeffrey Rosen and acting deputy AG Richard Donoghue should get the President Medal of Freedom for putting an end to the attempt to have state legislatures override the will of the voters. They really may have saved the Republic.

- In his efforts to dissuade people from getting vaccinated, Sean Hannity likes to show a headline from WKBN CBS 27 in Youngstown, Ohio back in June: "COVID-19 Survivors Show Lasting Immunity Against Virus; Cleveland Clinic Study Says" but note how he never actually reads from the news report: "The Cleveland Clinic tells FOX 8, 'We don't know how long the immune system will protect against reinfection or protect against variants. We still recommend those eligible receive the vaccine. This study was conducted within the population of healthcare workers that are younger & healthier than the general population. It is safe to get the COVID-19 vaccine even if you have had previously tested positive for COVID-19'."
