Two hosts of the morning chat show The View were removed from the episode’s panel Friday after testing positive for the coronavirus just prior to Vice President Kamala Harris making an appearance for an interview, CNN reports.
The show suddenly cut to commercial, and when the broadcast resumed, host Sunny Hostin and guest host Ana Navarro were gone from the set. Co-host Joy Behar said both women had been vaccinated, but pre-show screenings done because the Vice President was appearing pointed to positive coronavirus infections.
As a precaution, Harris did her interview remotely instead of joining the three remaining hosts on set.
